This is where we evaluate the sound and the quality of every signal in the studio. From choosing the right microphone, the EQ and dynamic settings up to gain and levels in the mix - just everything!
Therefore it's really important that you can rely on what you hear. The speaker may not add anything or leave any detail out, whereas every problem should be revealed. It has to a transform raw and impulsive material without any coloration and distortion. In the end your mix should sound great on every other speaker in the world.

Your ears and your speakers from PSI audio
It is the sum of details, manufactured without compromise. Most important are two elements: controlling the signal phase with all-pass-filters (CPR) and the dynamic adjustment of the amplifier output impedance (AOI).
But even the small things are in the focus: resonant free mounting of the electronics unit, optimized integration of the tweeter to the baffle and handselected components are part of the PSI audio philosophy - for more than 25 years now.
The speakers are produced by the the most renowned manufacturers in Europe, based on strict guidelines from PSI audio. And if they are still not satisfied with the quality, they do it by themselve. This is the case for the Tweeter of the A 25-M. A true masterpiece, handmade in Switzerland! PSI audio represents a good combination of serial production and handcraft. The cabinet is made with a CNC-milling maschine, the frequency optimisation is done by hand in a big anecoic chamber. All in all the tolerances are so small so you can combine and expand any PSI audio speaker among each other.
The result is a speaker that has an incredible resolution, attention to details and a perfect impulse response - at every listening level.
